GERALD BURK

Gerald has been in the construction industry for 31 years and in business for himself 24 years He has worked in the field as an ironworker and certified welder. His duties in the erection business have included managing up to 154 employees at peak employment, successful completion of projects of more than 9800 tons. He has a complete understanding of insurance, banking, bonding, contract bidding and negotiating. Gerald is a certified auditor by PCI for precast construction, and is the qualified party for Pioneer Steel's different states licensing. Gerald currently serves on the Board of Directors for Steel Erectors Association of America (SEAA).

GENE PFALZGRAFF

Gene joined Gerald in 1983 as an Ironworker and was advanced to a foreman position for Skyline Steel. In 1990, when Pioneer Steel began operations, Gene became a superintendent for the company. Gene has been a part of completing a vast number of projects that range from small commercial buildings to large schools, mountain resorts, hospitals, and major bridges that have been constructed of both steel and precast.

PAUL TURLEY

Paul rejoined Pioneer Steel as the safety coordinator in 2000. In 2001 Paul took on a role as a project manager. While at Pioneer Steel, Paul continues to fulfill both the roles of project manager and safety coordinator. He has had experience in completing numerous projects that deal with schools, hospitals, residential, commercial, and precast, mountain resorts, and bridges. Paul is certified in forklift trainer certification, crane safety training, and he is also a licensed Colorado Registered Nurse.

LYDELL GORDON

Lydell entered into the construction industry early in life, honing his metal working, welding, heavy equipment and crane operation skills. In 1984 he chose to make it his career, joining a large Industrial construction company based in Colorado as a crane/heavy equipment operator, Ironworker/rod buster, pipe fitter/boiler maker including the supervision of the same. From 1989-2003 he was the CEO and owner of a Industrial construction company licensed as a General Engineering Contractor in the state of California. The company specialized in heavy Industrial projects, and operated as a ASME/NBBI certified boiler / Pressure vessel company. He is a past member of the American Welding Society (AWS) American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Associated General Contractors (AGC), San Diego and United States Chamber of commerce. He has been involved with Construction and Project Management for 20 years.

JARED STREET

Jared joined the PSI team in 2003 after seven years of experience with an erection / fabrication shop. While with Pioneer Jared has run projects ranging from single story bar joist to complex medium rise steel buildings. Jared ran Fruita 8/9Centre, a single story of bar joist structure with over one hundred thousand square feet. He also ran One Arrowhead place in Avon. This project consisted of two four story steel framed buildings with complex Alpine roofs. Jared's background in fabrication has given him the ability to come up with innovative solutions to efficiently repair field problems on the fly.

HOUSTON BURK

Houston graduated from Regis University in 2006 with multiple degrees in business. He has worked for PSI during the summers as a crane operator, welder and leadman. After graduating Houston assumed the role of project manager. He completed a large school before taking the position of crane manager. As the crane manager Houston has taken over the daily crane operations in the office along with the crane sales.

JAKE CROWLEY

Jake joined PSI Crane in 2004 as the dispatch manager. Jake owned and operated Crowley Trucking for nine years prior to joining PSI. His background in Heavy Haul trucking has helped PSI expand their market into Specialty Trucking. In 2005, Jake was promoted to Heavy Hauling for PSI. He manages all of the large conventional assemblies and disassemblies.

SHANE TIFFANY

Shane joined the PSI team in 2009 as the equipment and shop manager. He has over fifteen years of experience in the construction and mining industry. Shane has attended many factory schools and has extensive training with hydraulics and electrical systems found on today's equipment. He has worked on many large projects all over the United States including the T-Rex project in Denver, CO. His time and experience managing large equipment fleets and large maintenance crews brings the expertise needed to manage PSI's fleet.

LARRY BARTH

Larry received his B.S. business administration, emphasis in Accounting, in 1975 from the University of Northern Colorado. Larry began his career with Occidental Petroleum Corporation in June, 1976. After traveling abroad to control foreign branches of Occidental Larry returned to western Colorado in 1997 to continue in positions of management and operational accounting in the mining and construction industries. He has been the controller of Pioneer Steel since July 2006.

CHERYL STROUSE

Cheryl joined PSI Crane in 2000 as the bookkeeper. Cheryl has worked in the banking industry for fifteen years and has an extensive background in the financial industry. She is currently pursuing her associate's degree in accounting.
